Our annual events:
- Booking for stalls at Barnes Fair, which begins in January (click HERE for more information)
- Our huge Jumble Sale in October - one of our main fund-raising events
- Late Night Christmas Shopping Evening - usually the second Friday in December - when Father Christmas comes to Barnes and we have open house at Rose House (the BCA headquarters) with festive food and drink and Barnes-themed gifts on sale
- A carol singing session around Barnes later in December to raise money for a local charity.
- Christmas Lunch at The Barnes Green Day Centre where anyone by themselves on Christmas Day can come along, have a festive lunch and join in the entertainment

The 2007 sale raised over £7,000 for the BCA and local charities and schools. A sale this size means an enormous amount of work and our volunteers give so much time and effort each year to make it a big success.
This year we are losing some of our valuable storage space. One of the reasons our sale is so successful is due to the fact that we can receive items all through the year but it does mean we need places to keep them until sale time. So, if you have a little spare room in a garden shed or a garage please let us know - ring Hilary on 8878 2359.
We are also desperate for helpers. If you can spare a few hours please give Hilary a ring at Rose House, 8878 2359. We are a friendly team and have a lot of fun organising the sale.
