Hi good web site,my grandmother
lived at Cressy house,Barnes common in the early 1900 her Maiden name was
Richardson it is now a block of flats does anyone have a photograph of the

I'd just like to thank all the
people of Barnes,especially around the Upper Richmond Road/Rocks Lane area,for
being so kind,caring,sympathetic and understanding to all of us Marc Bolan
fans when we "invade" your beautiful villiage on the anniversary of his
death.I understand that you may have to put up with quite a bit at the time,but
over the years we've had few,if any complaints about the conduct of the
fans.Also whenever we have talked to residents,they've been most enthusiastic
about the man and his music.Finally a heartfelt "Tanx",as we say within
the Bolan scene to the powers that be,for allowing us to erect memorials
to Marc,and renevate the area around the tree,to make it safer for the fans
to access,and to leave a lasting memorial to our "Precious Star"
